| A vulnerability was determined in chonkie-inc littrs 0.6.1/0.6.2. Impacted is the function Sandbox::mount of the file crates/littrs/src/lib.rs. Executing a manipulation of the argument relative can lead to path traversal. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in weiqingwen spring-boot-forum up to 538eecc3c6b85fdf0768ab4e8354b48c0c17d94f. Affected is the function validate of the file src/main/java/com/qingwenwei/util/NewUserFormValidator.java of the component Avatar Upload. The manipulation of the argument Username leads to path traversal. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. Continious delivery with rolling releases is used by this product. Therefore, no version details of affected nor updated releases are available. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Dozzle versions before 11.1.2 fail to sanitize container display names when building ZIP archive entry names in the log download endpoint. Attackers who can label containers can use path traversal sequences to write files outside the extraction directory when users download and extract logs. |
| Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's URL normalization does not recognize dot and dotdot path segments when they carry semicolon parameters. A request such as /user/..;foo=bar/admin is therefore not canonicalized to /admin even when path normalization is enabled. If an upstream interprets the segment according to RFC 3986 while Envoy applies routing or RBAC to the uncollapsed path, a remote client can cause path confusion and bypass path-based security policy. The relevant scope boundary is that the security consequence depends on a downstream/upstream path interpretation mismatch or a path-based Envoy decision. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1. |
| IBM Concert 1.0.0 through 3.0.0 could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot " sequences ( /.. /) to view arbitrary files on the system. |
| Missing path validation in the Worktree.remove component of openCode v1.18.26 allows attackers to execute arbitrary recursive directory deletion via a crafted payload. |
| Dancer2 versions from 2.1.0 before 2.2.0 for Perl serve files from outside public_dir via relative path segments in the File route handler.
The handler joins the request path onto public_dir without collapsing relative segments, and checks only that the result is a readable regular file. A request for `/../outside.txt` escapes public_dir, and percent-encoding the dots reaches the same file.
The handler is off by default. An application is affected once it names File in route_handlers and sets static_handler to 0, which otherwise refuses a dot segment before the route runs.
Any file the worker process can read is served to an unauthenticated request, including the application's config.yml above public_dir. |
| A path traversal vulnerability was found in pulpcore. The content upload API accepts a 'file_url' parameter that allows users with file repository privileges to specify a local file URL for Pulp to download and store. A URL scheme validation check uses a string prefix comparison that only rejects URLs beginning with 'file://', but Python's URL parser recognizes the 'file:' scheme without double slashes, creating a mismatch between what is validated and what is dispatched to the file downloader. An authenticated user with low-privilege repository permissions can supply a specially crafted URL using relative path traversal sequences to read any file accessible to the Pulp server process. In deployments that include Pulp Container, successful exploitation allows an attacker to read the container registry token signing private key and forge bearer tokens, granting unauthorized access to all private container repositories in the affected registry. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Bimser Solution Software Trade Inc. EBA Plus Document and Workflow Management System allows Path Traversal.
This issue affects eBA Plus Document and Workflow Management System: from 6.7.141 before 10.0.11. |
| Token Optimizer MCP measures token savings per AI coding agent, optimizes context, and shares a live local knowledge graph across 16 CLI clients. Prior to version 5.1.0, the dashboard HTTP server in token-optimizer-mcp exposes /api/session-summary and /api/session-events with no authentication middleware — any network-accessible client can reach them without credentials. Both handlers concatenate the caller-supplied sessionId query parameter directly into a filesystem path via path.join, and Node.js normalizes .. segments at resolution time, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to read any .jsonl file reachable from the server's filesystem. This issue has been patched in version 5.1.0. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Eleveo Quality Management 9.7.0. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file Scorecard.jsp of the component Questionnaire Audio Upload. The manipulation leads to path traversal. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.10 and 17.0.5, a critical vulnerability exists in the sound language upload and conversion functionality that allows an authenticated attacker to perform arbitrary file writes, leading directly to remote code execution (RCE). Authentication with a known username is required. The vulnerability stems from insufficient path sanitization in the file conversion process, enabling path traversal attacks that place malicious PHP files in the web server's root directory. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.10 and 17.0.5. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Innotim Software, Telecommunications and Consultancy Trade Ltd. Co. Logsign SIEM allows Path Traversal.
This issue affects Logsign SIEM: from 6.4.101 before 6.4.117. |
| Path traversal in the CLI client image export and copy functionality in Canonical LXD from 4.0.2 before 4.0.14, 5.0.10, 5.21.8, and 6.10 on all platforms allows a remote malicious or machine-in-the-middle image server to overwrite arbitrary local files and execute code on the client system via a crafted Content-Disposition header filename parameter during unified image export or copy operations into a local directory target. |
| Dayforce Payroll is vulnerable to Path Traversal in file download functionality. An unauthenticated attacker can sent GET request with file path parameter set to any path including an absolute
local file path.
Because vendor contact attempts were unsuccessful, the vulnerability has only been confirmed in version R2026.2.0 but may also affect other versions. |
| A path traversal vulnerability was discovered in the Kubernetes kubectl client's kubectl cp command on Windows. When copying files from a container, kubectl runs tar inside the container to build a tar archive, transfers it over the network, and unpacks it on the local machine. If the tar binary in the container is malicious, it can execute arbitrary code and emit unexpected output, allowing an attacker who controls container contents to write files to arbitrary paths on the user's local machine when kubectl cp is invoked, limited only by the system permissions of the local user. This issue only affects kubectl clients running on Windows. |
| The decompress package for Node.js extracts archives. Prior to 10.2.2 and 11.1.4, the default decompress(input, output) API relies on lexical containment checks that do not account for the kernel following a planted symlink chain. An attacker can supply a crafted archive containing chained symlink entries so that a later entry resolves outside the output directory. This allows files outside output to be read or written, and overwriting startup scripts or configuration can lead to remote code execution. The maintained @xhmikosr/decompress package is fixed in 10.2.2 and 11.1.4, but the separately affected unmaintained decompress package remains unpatched through 4.2.1. This vulnerability results from a bypass of the incomplete hardening for CVE-2026-53486. @xhmikosr/decompress is fixed in versions 10.2.2 and 11.1.4. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Tencent AI-Infra-Guard up to 4.5.2/4.6.2. This affects the function startsWith of the file skill_scan/tools/dir/dir_actions.py of the component File Access. The manipulation leads to path traversal. The attack needs to be performed locally. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. Upgrading to version 4.6.0 is able to mitigate this issue. The identifier of the patch is ac0384edc9dbea3b226edefcf50613bd8509134f. You should upgrade the affected component. |
| Kyverno before 1.19.1 contains a namespace isolation bypass in the apiCall context entry of namespaced Policy resources due to inconsistent path interpretation between validation and execution. A low-privilege tenant can use percent-encoded dot-segments in urlPath to bypass namespace checks and read resources from other namespaces using the Kyverno admission controller's ServiceAccount credentials. |
| Path traversal in the btrfs storage driver in Canonical LXD versions 4.0.2 and later (fixed in 4.0.14, 5.0.10, 5.21.8 and 6.10) on Linux allows an authenticated client with permission to create instances in a project to delete arbitrary files on the host as root. On hosts whose root filesystem is btrfs, the client can also place attacker-controlled content at arbitrary host paths, leading to full host compromise. The client does this with a crafted subvolume path containing ../ sequences, sent in either of two ways: in the optimized_header.yaml of an optimized btrfs backup, or in the btrfs migration header sent by a malicious migration source. |
