CVSS v3.1 |
js-yaml is a JavaScript YAML parser and dumper. From 3.0.0 until 3.15.2, 4.3.2, and 5.4.1, maxTotalMergeKeys in lib/js-yaml/loader.js and lib/loader.js does not count empty mapping sources while processing the merge key <<. An attacker can alias a large sequence of empty mappings into many merge targets, causing O(N * K) processing while totalMergeKeys remains unchanged and the configured resource limit is never reached. A relatively small YAML document can therefore cause prolonged CPU consumption in applications that parse untrusted YAML, and merge processing is enabled by default on these release lines. In v3 & v4, merge is enabled by default so the severity score is higher. This issue is fixed in versions 3.15.2, 4.3.2, and 5.4.1.
Axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. From 1.15.0 until 1.20.0, Axios shouldBypassProxy applies a quadratic trailing-dot regular expression to redirect hostnames. HTTP_PROXY or HTTPS_PROXY is configured, NO_PROXY or no_proxy is non-empty, redirects are followed, and a crafted redirect Location contains many dots followed by a non-dot character. Hostname.replace(/.+$/, '') backtracks quadratically while processing the crafted redirect hostname. Synchronous regular-expression processing can block the Node.js event loop and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.20.0.
The WP Recipe Maker WordPress plugin before 10.8.2 does not have any authorisation check in one of its REST routes, nor does it bound what that route stores, allowing unauthenticated users to write unlimited data into any user's metadata and to permanently prevent that account, including an administrator's, from loading.
A denial-of-service flaw was found in gnome-remote-desktop. An unauthenticated remote attacker can open RDP connections without completing the handshake and retain the connection-throttling slots indefinitely because no pre-authentication handshake deadline is enforced. By exhausting the global connection limit, an attacker can prevent new RDP clients from connecting until a holding socket is closed.
ip-address is a library for parsing and manipulating IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in JavaScript. Prior to 10.7.1, the Address6 constructor, Address6.isValid, and parse code in src/ipv6.ts accept unbounded strings and expand invalid characters through RE_BAD_CHARACTERS into large diagnostics. Material impact occurs only when an application accepts a very large attacker-controlled field and passes it to Address6 parsing without an earlier length bound. Common URL and header limits, and common body-parser defaults, generally constrain the effect; common defaults typically exclude 32 MiB fields. Megabyte-scale fields can cause a synchronous stall and high transient memory use, approximately 16 MiB can trigger an invalid string length exception, and process termination occurs at approximately 32 MiB. The affected entry points include Address6.isValid and construction paths that reach parse. This issue is fixed in version 10.7.1.
vLLM before 0.29.0 fails to enforce decoder prompt-length validation on the disaggregated serving endpoint /inference/v1/generate. When the request contains a 'features' (multimodal) payload, vllm/entrypoints/serve/disagg/serving.py builds a multimodal EngineInput directly from the caller-supplied token_ids, and GenerateRequest.token_ids (vllm/entrypoints/serve/disagg/protocol.py) is not checked against model_config.max_model_len. For multimodal processors that report skip_prompt_length_check=True (for example Nemotron Parse, Whisper, and FireRedLID), InputProcessor._validate_prompt_len() returns immediately for both encoder and decoder prompts, so an overlong prompt becomes an EngineCoreRequest and reaches the worker input-batch copy into a fixed max_model_len-wide NumPy row. A client able to reach the endpoint on an affected model configuration can therefore submit an overlong token_ids list to trigger a worker failure and denial of service. Fixed in 0.29.0.
Axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. From 1.13.0 until 1.20.0, Http2Sessions does not install adequate error handling for a ClientHttp2Session during Axios HTTP/2 session initialization or reuse. A request uses httpVersion: 2 and the ClientHttp2Session emits an error during session initialization or reuse. The unhandled session error escapes normal Promise rejection handling. The uncaught error can terminate the Node.js process and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.20.0.
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.26.0, the structured_outputs.regex parameter in vllm/v1/structured_output/backend_lm_format_enforcer.py is passed to lmformatenforcer.RegexParser without compile_regex_with_timeout or validation in validate_structured_output_request_lm_format_enforcer, allowing an unauthenticated /v1/completions request against the lm-format-enforcer backend to consume a CPU core and stall the structured-output engine path with a catastrophic regular expression. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0.
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. From 0.19.0 until 0.26.0, the /v1/completions CompletionRequest.prompt field in vllm/entrypoints/openai/completion/protocol.py accepts an unbounded list[str] or list[list[int]], prompt_to_seq() in vllm/renderers/inputs/preprocess.py and OnlineRenderer.preprocess_completion() in vllm/renderers/online_renderer.py expand every element, and vllm/entrypoints/openai/completion/serving.py creates one engine generator and response slot per prompt, allowing an authenticated API client to exhaust CPU, memory, async scheduling capacity, engine request slots, and response buffering with one request. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0.
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the HTTP/1 parser limits decompression work per transaction but does not limit how many small brotli compression bombs a single flow can submit. With response-body-decompress-layer-limit enabled, repeated compressed responses make the decompression paths in rust/htp perform expensive work for every transaction, degrading packet processing and potentially causing loss of monitoring visibility or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6.
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the DHCP parser in rust/src/dhcp/dhcp.rs creates stateless transactions without recording their packet direction with AppLayerTxData::for_direction(), so a sensor that observes only one direction cannot mark the unseen direction inspected or free completed transactions. The RDP parser in rust/src/rdp/rdp.rs has the same direction-state defect. The per-flow transaction list can grow without bound and cleanup repeatedly scans it, causing increasing CPU and memory consumption and eventual denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6.
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, the SMB parser can retain force-completed transactions on flows where Suricata sees payload in only one direction, including async-oneside flows, because cleanup waits for inspection in the unseen direction. The transaction creation paths in rust/src/smb can exceed the intended SMB_MAX_TX bound, and cleanup repeatedly scans the growing list. Sustained one-directional SMB traffic can therefore cause unbounded per-flow state and CPU and memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17.
A security vulnerability has been detected in ag-ui-protocol ag-ui up to 2026-09-23. Affected by this issue is the function readAllBytes of the file JdkAgentHttpHandler.java of the component HTTP Handler. Such manipulation leads to resource consumption. The attack can be launched remotely. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance.
OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.6.6 and < 2026.8.1 apply the SMS webhook invalid-request rate limit before Twilio signature verification and identify clients only by the raw proxy socket address. In deployments where the SMS/Twilio webhook sits behind a trusted reverse proxy or tunnel so that multiple external clients share one socket address, an unauthenticated remote sender can exhaust the shared pre-authentication rate-limit budget with invalid requests, causing subsequent correctly signed Twilio callbacks to receive HTTP 429 responses. The result is temporary inbound SMS loss while the shared window remains exhausted; the attacker cannot forge a callback or access message data. Fixed in 2026.8.1.
OpenClaw versions before 2026.8.1 contain a resource exhaustion vulnerability in the Gateway listener that allows unauthenticated clients to retain response sockets by sending WebSocket upgrade requests without matching connection semantics. Attackers can repeatedly send malformed upgrade requests to exhaust listener resources and cause denial of service without consuming the WebSocket pre-auth connection budget.
OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.5.28 and < 2026.8.1 mishandle archive listings in the tar.bz2 skill installer: bounded command-output suffixes were treated as complete listings of the archive. A crafted .tar.bz2/.tbz2 skill archive can push prohibited entries out of both retained listings so that entry-count and size checks pass, and the archive is then extracted in full. If an operator approves installation of such a malicious or compromised skill archive, over-limit files or entry counts are persisted in the skill tools directory, consuming disk space or inodes. The issue bypasses OpenClaw's extraction budgets but does not by itself execute archive contents. Fixed in 2026.8.1.
vllm before 0.29.0 fails to enforce VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_CLIP_FILESIZE_MB limit in multimodal chat audio decoding, allowing unauthenticated clients to bypass file size restrictions. Attackers can submit oversized audio files through chat endpoints to consume excessive memory and CPU resources during decoding.
| A vulnerability in the DHCP snooping feature of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause BOOTP packets to be forwarded between VLANs, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to improper handling of BOOTP packets on Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series Switches. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending BOOTP request packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to forward BOOTP packets from one VLAN to another, resulting in BOOTP VLAN leakage and potentially leading to high CPU utilization. This makes the device unreachable (either through console or remote management) and unable to forward traffic, resulting in a DoS condition.
Note: This vulnerability can be exploited with either unicast or broadcast BOOTP packets.
There are workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
containerd is an open-source container runtime. Prior to versions 1.7.36, 2.0.13, 2.2.9, 2.3.6, and 2.4.1, a crafted OCI index graph can force very high CPU/memory usage during PullImage (before container start), causing long ContainerCreating stalls and, at larger sizes, node/runtime instability. Versions 1.7.36, 2.0.13, 2.2.9, 2.3.6, and 2.4.1 fix the issue.
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, mechanisms/1 applied list_to_atom/1 to every colon-delimited token in an attacker-controlled auth_mechanism value, permanently consuming Erlang VM atoms and allowing the node to be crashed with a large request. Exploitation requires the Shovel or Federation plugin to be in use, and setting auth_mechanism requires the policymaker tag. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6.
