CVSS v3.1 |
| A specially crafted pair of WS-Policy documents can force Neethi's policy-intersection to do exponential amounts of work, pinning the CPU for a long time (denial of service).
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.2.4, which fixes this issue. |
| A specially crafted WS-Policy document with deeply nested policy elements can bypass Neethi's nesting-depth limit and exhaust the thread stack, crashing the parser (denial of service).
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.2.4, which fixes this issue. |
| Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') vulnerability in the `tar` source plugin of Apache BuildStream running on Python < 3.12 allows malicious source tarballs to write files on the host, with the privileges of the user running BuildStream, via symlinks as part of source fetching.
The impact of this issue is mitigated by:
* BuildStream projects should only use trusted sources in their elements as otherwise the build output can also not be trusted
* Tracking a source tarball pins its SHA256 hash, which prevents MITM attacks of users that are fetching an already tracked project
* When running on Python >= 3.12, BuildStream >= 2.3.0 already makes use of the Python `tarfile` filter functionality, which blocks the symlink escape
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.8.1, which fixes this issue. |

| An Improper Authentication vulnerability in the Apache Doris Frontend (FE) meta service allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access internal metadata service endpoints.
The affected endpoints relied on client-supplied node information for authentication without providing sufficient authentication of the requesting party. Under certain network configurations, a remote attacker may be able to bypass the intended access control and access internal FE metadata interfaces, potentially exposing sensitive cluster information.
This issue affects Apache Doris: from 2.0.0 through 2.0.*, from 2.1.0 through 2.1.*, from 3.0.0 through 3.0.*, from 3.1.0 through 3.1.*, from 4.0.0 before 4.0.8, and from 4.1.0 before 4.1.4. Versions 1.2.x and earlier are not affected by this header-trust vulnerability.

| Use of Externally-Controlled Input to Select Classes or Code ('Unsafe Reflection') vulnerability in Apache Calcite Avatica. Plugin instantiation (via AvaticaUtils#instantiatePlugin and other methods) initializes arbitrary classes via unrestricted calls to Class.forName(String) which by default triggers initialization. This may lead to the execution of static initializer blocks in arbitrary classes present in the classpath. The instantiation APIs should initialize and instantiate only classes implementing the specified plugin interface passed as input in conjunction with the desired classname. At the moment of writing, there are no well-known or widely used classes with dangerous static initializer blocks so the severity is low.
This issue affects Apache Calcite Avatica: before 1.29.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.29.0, which fixes the issue. |
| Apache Airflow's asset queued-events DELETE endpoints checked the caller's Dag-axis permission with `READ` instead of `EDIT`. Any authenticated user who could read a Dag could therefore delete that Dag's queued asset events, silently suppressing asset-triggered scheduling for it — a state-changing action gated on a read-only permission. Deployments are affected whenever asset-triggered scheduling is in use and Dag read access is granted more widely than Dag edit access, which is the normal RBAC arrangement; no special configuration is required. Upgrade to apache-airflow 3.3.2 or later. |
