CVE-2026-84448 1 Struktur 1 Libheif 2026-09-19 4 Medium
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. Prior to 1.23.2, the public heif_region_item_add_region_inline_mask_data() function in libheif/api/libheif/heif_regions.cc accepts mask_data_len without verifying that it equals the byte count required by width and height. A later heif_region_get_mask_image() call derives the read length from the region geometry, so an undersized stored buffer causes heif_region_get_inline_mask_image() to read beyond the heap allocation and copy adjacent bytes into the returned monochrome mask image. This can disclose heap data or crash an application that constructs region metadata through the writer API, while the file-parsing path is not affected because it validates the canonical mask size. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.2.
CVE-2026-90339 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/syscall: Fix syscall skip handling for seccomp and ptrace After enabling GENERIC_ENTRY on PowerPC, syscall_enter_from_user_mode() returns -1 as a sentinel to signal that seccomp or ptrace has intercepted the syscall and already set a return value via syscall_set_return_value(). system_call_exception() was not handling this sentinel, and since -1UL is >= NR_syscalls, the code fell into the out-of-range path and returned -ENOSYS, overwriting the errno already placed in regs->gpr[3]. The naive fix of checking r0 == -1L before the NR_syscalls bounds check is ambiguous: a user legitimately calling syscall(-1) also produces r0 == -1L, and a tracer intercepting such a call would have its injected return value silently discarded. Fix this by introducing a thread flag that is set whenever syscall_set_return_value() explicitly updates the return value. In system_call_exception(), check and clear this flag before dispatching the syscall, and return the preset value directly when it is present. This ensures that an explicitly supplied return value always suppresses syscall execution, regardless of the syscall number. This handles all seccomp actions correctly: - SECCOMP_RET_ERRNO, SECCOMP_RET_TRACE (no tracer), SECCOMP_RET_USER_NOTIF: all call syscall_set_return_value(), flag is set, injected value returned. - SECCOMP_RET_TRAP, SECCOMP_RET_KILL: call syscall_rollback() and deliver a signal; flag is not set, but the process is dying so the return value is irrelevant. The fix covers both ppc32 and ppc64 with no #ifdefs.
CVE-2026-93064 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix off-by-one in TXF key sanitiser iwl_mvm_frob_txf_key_iter() tracks the last matched byte position in loop variable 'i'. When a full key match is found (match == keylen), 'i' points at the last byte of the matched key. The memset start offset should therefore be i + 1 - keylen, not i - keylen; the current code zeroes one byte before the match and leaves the final key byte un-sanitised.
CVE-2023-1175 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Neovim and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Neovim and 1 more 2026-09-18 6.6 Medium
Incorrect Calculation of Buffer Size in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.1378.
CVE-2026-44254 1 Wazuh 1 Wazuh 2026-09-18 5.3 Medium
Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 1.0.0 until 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta2, HandleSecureMessage() in src/remoted/secure.c passes a pointer inside its stack buffer to ReadSecMSG(), and src/os_crypto/shared/msgs.c decompresses up to OS_MAXSTR bytes at that offset. For an encrypted agent message on TCP port 1514 that expands to 65,536 bytes, os_zlib_uncompress() writes a terminating null byte beyond the end of the destination buffer. The resulting stack out-of-bounds write in the root-level remoted daemon can crash message processing and disrupt agent communications. This issue is fixed in versions 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta2.
CVE-2026-91962 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-09-17 6.3 Medium
FreeRDP before 3.31.0 contains an integer overflow in the audin Apple backends when processing FramesPerPacket values from MSG_SNDIN_OPEN messages. Attackers can supply crafted FramesPerPacket values that cause AudioQueueAllocateBuffer size computation to wrap, resulting in undersized buffer allocation and potential out-of-bounds access.
CVE-2026-34986 2 Go-jose, Go-jose Project 2 Go-jose, Go-jose 2026-09-17 7.5 High
Go JOSE provides an implementation of the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption set of standards in Go, including support for JSON Web Encryption (JWE), JSON Web Signature (JWS), and JSON Web Token (JWT) standards. Prior to 4.1.4 and 3.0.5, decrypting a JSON Web Encryption (JWE) object will panic if the alg field indicates a key wrapping algorithm (one ending in KW, with the exception of A128GCMKW, A192GCMKW, and A256GCMKW) and the encrypted_key field is empty. The panic happens when cipher.KeyUnwrap() in key_wrap.go attempts to allocate a slice with a zero or negative length based on the length of the encrypted_key. This code path is reachable from ParseEncrypted() / ParseEncryptedJSON() / ParseEncryptedCompact() followed by Decrypt() on the resulting object. Note that the parse functions take a list of accepted key algorithms. If the accepted key algorithms do not include any key wrapping algorithms, parsing will fail and the application will be unaffected. This panic is also reachable by calling cipher.KeyUnwrap() directly with any ciphertext parameter less than 16 bytes long, but calling this function directly is less common. Panics can lead to denial of service. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.1.4 and 3.0.5.
CVE-2026-47773 1 Arduino-libraries 1 Arduinoble 2026-09-15 N/A
ArduinoBLE enables Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity on certain Arduino models. Versions prior to 2.0.2 contain a missing bounds check in the ATT layer write request handler that allows a remote, unauthenticated BLE client to corrupt memory in the ATTClass global object. Devices running ArduinoBLE with one or more characteristics configured with the BLEEncryption property are affected. The fix is included starting from the 2.0.2 release.
CVE-2026-53091 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: pull headers in qdisc_pkt_len_segs_init() Most ndo_start_xmit() methods expects headers of gso packets to be already in skb->head. net/core/tso.c users are particularly at risk, because tso_build_hdr() does a memcpy(hdr, skb->data, hdr_len); qdisc_pkt_len_segs_init() already does a dissection of gso packets. Use pskb_may_pull() instead of skb_header_pointer() to make sure drivers do not have to reimplement this. Some malicious packets could be fed, detect them so that we can drop them sooner with a new SKB_DROP_REASON_SKB_BAD_GSO drop_reason.
CVE-2026-89608 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ecryptfs: pass packet set buffer size to parser ecryptfs_parse_packet_set() receives a pointer into the file header, but it calculates the remaining packet buffer size from PAGE_SIZE - 8. For version 1 headers the packet set starts later in the header, so this can overstate the available buffer. Pass the actual packet set buffer length from the caller and calculate per-packet limits from the remaining bytes in that buffer. Recompute the remaining length after consuming a tag 3 packet before parsing the following tag 11 packet.
CVE-2026-89538 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: Reject krb5 v2 wrap tokens with oversized ec field gss_krb5_unwrap_v2() sets buf->len to a logical length, which can be much smaller than head[0].iov_len (the allocated receive-page capacity). It then calls xdr_buf_trim() with a trim length derived from the 16-bit "extra count" (ec) field in the Kerberos v2 token header. The ec field is authenticated by the post-decrypt memcmp() against the encrypted header copy, so a randomly-mutated value is rejected. However, any peer holding a valid GSS context can legitimately encrypt a token whose ec exceeds the plaintext length. Per RFC 4121, such a token is structurally malformed. Although xdr_buf_trim() now clamps the buf->len subtraction to avoid unsigned underflow, the buffer is still left in a semantically invalid state (zero length, inconsistent iov lengths) when ec is oversized. Reject these tokens before calling xdr_buf_trim(), giving callers a well-defined GSS_S_DEFECTIVE_TOKEN error and keeping the xdr_buf internally consistent. The wrapped blob begins at a nonzero offset -- both callers pass len as offset + opaque_len -- so buf->len still counts the offset bytes that precede the blob. Compare the trim length against the remaining wrapped segment, buf->len - offset, rather than the whole buffer; comparing against buf->len alone leaves an offset-wide window in which an oversized ec passes the test and xdr_buf_trim() cuts into the bytes ahead of the blob.
CVE-2026-74378 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/rxe: Fix TOCTOU heap overflow in get_srq_wqe get_srq_wqe() reads wqe->dma.num_sge from the shared receive queue buffer, which is mapped into userspace. It validates num_sge against max_sge, but then re-reads the same field to calculate the memcpy size. A concurrent userspace thread can modify num_sge between validation and use, causing a heap buffer overflow when copying the WQE into qp->resp.srq_wqe. Read num_sge into a local variable and use it for both the bounds check and the size calculation.
CVE-2026-23447 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: cdc_ncm: add ndpoffset to NDP32 nframes bounds check The same bounds-check bug fixed for NDP16 in the previous patch also exists in cdc_ncm_rx_verify_ndp32(). The DPE array size is validated against the total skb length without accounting for ndpoffset, allowing out-of-bounds reads when the NDP32 is placed near the end of the NTB. Add ndpoffset to the nframes bounds check and use struct_size_t() to express the NDP-plus-DPE-array size more clearly. Compile-tested only.
CVE-2025-22124 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/md-bitmap: fix wrong bitmap_limit for clustermd when write sb In clustermd, separate write-intent-bitmaps are used for each cluster node: 0 4k 8k 12k ------------------------------------------------------------------- | idle | md super | bm super [0] + bits | | bm bits[0, contd] | bm super[1] + bits | bm bits[1, contd] | | bm super[2] + bits | bm bits [2, contd] | bm super[3] + bits | | bm bits [3, contd] | | | So in node 1, pg_index in __write_sb_page() could equal to bitmap->storage.file_pages. Then bitmap_limit will be calculated to 0. md_super_write() will be called with 0 size. That means the first 4k sb area of node 1 will never be updated through filemap_write_page(). This bug causes hang of mdadm/clustermd_tests/01r1_Grow_resize. Here use (pg_index % bitmap->storage.file_pages) to make calculation of bitmap_limit correct.
CVE-2026-22590 1 Eprosima 1 Fast Dds 2026-09-10 9.1 Critical
eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard of the OMG (Object Management Group). Versions prior to 2.6.12, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4.2 have a remotely triggerable Out-of-Bounds Read while processing RTPS `DATA_FRAG` submessages. An attacker can craft a `DATA_FRAG` with a large `sampleSize` but a small actual payload, and set `fragmentsInSubmessage` such that the receiver treats the packet as the LAST fragment**. In this LAST-fragment path, Fast-DDS computes `incoming_length` based on `sampleSize` and calls `memcpy()` without validating `incoming_data.length >= incoming_length`. As a result, `CacheChange_t::add_fragments()` reads past the received UDP datagram buffer and into adjacent heap memory, copying those bytes into the reassembly buffer. In a Discovery Server deployment, the resulting `CacheChange_t` can be relayed to other participants, meaning that a newly joining participant may receive leaked heap memory (e.g., pointer values that could aid ASLR bypass). Versions 2.6.12, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4.2 fix the issue.
CVE-2026-2050 1 Gimp 1 Gimp 2026-09-09 7.8 High
GIMP HDR File Parsing Heap-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of GIMP. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of HDR files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-28266.
CVE-2026-18743 2 Redhat, Rpm-software-management 6 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 3 more 2026-09-08 2.5 Low
A flaw was found in popt. This vulnerability allows an attacker to provide specially crafted configuration content to a host, which, when loaded, can lead to a small memory corruption issue. This occurs because of an error in how the `poptConfigFileToString` function reallocates memory for buffers. Successful exploitation could result in heap metadata corruption, potentially causing the affected process to become unavailable (denial of service).
CVE-2026-78221 1 Openvpn 1 Openvpn 2026-09-08 7.5 High
An incorrect buffer size calculation in the Windows Interactive Service in OpenVPN 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.6 allows local authenticated users to cause memory corruption or disclose sensitive information via crafted NRPT inputs.
CVE-2026-43501 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-08 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: rpl: reserve mac_len headroom when recompressed SRH grows ipv6_rpl_srh_rcv() decompresses an RFC 6554 Source Routing Header, swaps the next segment into ipv6_hdr->daddr, recompresses, then pulls the old header and pushes the new one plus the IPv6 header back. The recompressed header can be larger than the received one when the swap reduces the common-prefix length the segments share with daddr (CmprI=0, CmprE>0, seg[0][0] != daddr[0] gives the maximum +8 bytes). pskb_expand_head() was gated on segments_left == 0, so on earlier segments the push consumed unchecked headroom. Once skb_push() leaves fewer than skb->mac_len bytes in front of data, skb_mac_header_rebuild()'s call to: skb_set_mac_header(skb, -skb->mac_len); will store (data - head) - mac_len into the u16 mac_header field, which wraps to ~65530, and the following memmove() writes mac_len bytes ~64KiB past skb->head. A single AF_INET6/SOCK_RAW/IPV6_HDRINCL packet over lo with a two segment type-3 SRH (CmprI=0, CmprE=15) reaches headroom 8 after one pass; KASAN reports a 14-byte OOB write in ipv6_rthdr_rcv. Fix this by expanding the head whenever the remaining room is less than the push size plus mac_len, and request that much extra so the rebuilt MAC header fits afterwards.
CVE-2026-59847 2 Libssh, Redhat 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more 2026-09-04 5.9 Medium
A flaw was found in libssh. Incorrect AES-GCM finalization checks in builds using the OpenSSL backend can effectively remove integrity protection, allowing an in-path attacker to modify plaintext on the wire without detection.
